The Xiajin Tunnel is a key control project of the Xiajin Bridge (Xiamen section), starting from the intersection of Huandao Road and Huizhan North Road in Siming District, Xiamen, and ending at the Guanyin Mountain Interchange Beach Bridge. The main line is 3.29 kilometers long, including shield tunnels and open cut tunnels. It uses ultra large diameter shield technology to break through complex geological limitations. Its intelligent construction and strategic positioning not only demonstrate China’s infrastructure strength, but also lay a solid foundation for cross-strait interconnection.
